educate2011 Interview with Michael Astrop

At educate2011 we will be joined by Michael Astrop of Coach the Mind for a workshop on customer service entitled ‘How Good Is Your Customer Service?‘. Michael has worked with us here at the HBP Group in the past so we’re delighted to welcome him back to share some of his wisdom with attendees on Friday 18th November.

We spoke to Michael to find out a little more about his seminar at educate2011…

Hi Michael. What should attendees expect at your session at educate2011?

Never has customer responses been more important to every business – in challenging times customers respond to the small differences in the delivery of service. And that delivery can no longer just be ‘OK’ – it has to be exceptional and really stand out.

This seminar will give every one insight as to how to keep their existing customers and ways to get new ones, recognising the importance of social media but also the need to maintain and improve on the ‘old fashioned ‘ basics so that they become AMAZING.

What type of businesses should attend your session? And which people within those organisations would benefit most?

All businesses and everyone. There is no business in which customer service delivery is not important be they operating on the web, on the telephone or face to face. All people in the business from the CEO down to the seemingly lowest role need to be aware of the role of Customer service and how it works. Mary Portas – ‘the queen if shops’ – said “never has it been more crucial to invest in our customer service” and the key word there is INVEST and that means investing in people  and how they interact with customers and think about their relationship with customers.

This seminar will give senior business managers ways to develop their teams to be enthusiastic about their customer service and team members lots and lots of tips on how to improve the quality of their personal delivery.

Register for educate2011 and the ‘How Good Is Your Customer Service?’ workshop with Michael Astrop.
