Scunthorpe based business solutions provider, HBP Systems have defied the credit crunch by winning their two biggest deals in the company’s 19 year history.

Beamish Museum and Singleton Birch both signed six figure deals in recent months making 2008 the most successful year so far for HBP Systems. Both companies were in need of a solution to streamline their business processes and improve efficiency - HBP Systems were able to provide tailored solutions for both companies with solutions in Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS), Accounting Software and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software.

Beamish Open Air Museum of County Durham invested in HBP Systems’ state of the art EPOS solution, KCPOS in April, providing over 20 touch screen tills for use within the museum buildings as well as the back office accounting and ticketing software. The museum required a computerised system that could automate their ticketing and bookings processes, control their stock and manage the retail and catering aspects of their business. Over 320,000 guests visit Beamish Museum every year, and with over 4,000 guests arriving on peak days, they needed a system that could withstand this number of visitors and still run smoothly. KCPOS has since risen to the challenge and is now fully installed and operating efficiently.

Singleton Birch purchased the award winning accounts package IRIS Exchequer and along with a fully integrated CRM solution, ProspectSoft. They were in need of a single system that could manage the accounts and service sides of the business. They needed to be able to build both simple and complex reports for budgeting, forecasting and management and also be able to easily manage the scheduling of orders and deliveries. Contact and Document Management facilities were also essential. Experts at HBP Systems are currently implementing IRIS Exchequer and ProspectSoft CRM which they are certain will meet and exceed their expectations.
